 How We Began... 

Terry Davis
Owner & Master Barber
Terry Davis, Master Barber for 33 years, began his career in Clearwater, Florida moving to GA in 1986. There he began a Private Corporate Hair Salon in Atlanta at the ING Building where he served both men and women professionals for more than 20 years.

In 1997, Terry established HAIR Etc. 3 miles north of Canton. His friendly nature and masterful talent brought clients from throughout Cherokee county with many clients from his former salon in Atlanta driving from all directions of the metro area to have Terry cut and color their hair at HAIR Etc.

Terry began researching affordable quality color products. He discovered  lower cost and hair healthy products.  He futher advanced his knowledge in color and highlight techniques through ongoing classes and studies.
  
Terry created HAIR Etc. as a first-rate hair salon by combining premium, nature- friendly, cruelty-free, healthy and affordable products with a team of experienced, qualified and friendly professionals. All are happy to call HAIR Etc. home and their clients friends.

Sherry McDowell
Color Educator 
Master Cosmetologist Sherry McDowell began working for Terry at HAIR Etc. as a young novice over 13 years ago and they have been together ever since. Sherry has always been eager to learn more since her first day at HAIR Etc. As a result, Terry spent the first years training her in technical barber cutting skills which 
she mastered like a pro.

Sherry then began to study detailed theories of color and advanced highlighting techniques. She is now educates other professional cosmetologists in advanced color applications.

Natasha Martin
Color Specialist
HAIR Etc.is proud to have Color Specialist Natasha Martin 
as a part of our family team. 
Natasha came to HAIR Etc. as an experienced color specialist from Alpharetta’s Tony & Guy Salon.

Cayla Blackwell
Master Cosmetologist

Cayla Bagwell received her Master of Cosmetology Degree 
in December 2010. She has increased education 
under staff tutelage since September of 2010 
with excellent results.
